What it is
Quantities done are recorded against BOQ lines. Site reports them - from a daily progress report, an approved work receipt, or by hand - and they arrive as “To review”. A reviewer approves the quantity actually measured (or rejects it); only measured quantities can be claimed from the client. The “Progress & measurement” view of the BOQ shows, for every line, the contract quantity, what is reported, measured and certified, and what is left. Mistakes are fixed with a correction entry, so history is never rewritten.
Why you'll love it
- Site engineers record; someone else measures - nobody approves their own quantity.
- The daily report you already write becomes your measurement record - no double typing.
- Productivity on the Lookahead tab is worked out from measured quantities only.
