# Metrak makes AI voice reporting free for construction contractors: say what happened on site, and the report, expenses and tasks fill themselves

**Amman, Jordan and Fréjus, France — [DAY MONTH 2026]** — Metrak (metrak.ai), construction management software for contractors, today released voice-first AI features that turn what a site team says into finished records. Voice-filled daily reports and forms are now free on every Metrak plan. Anyone can try it on metrak.ai without creating an account.

Most contractors in the Middle East and North Africa still run their sites through WhatsApp voice notes, paper and spreadsheets. The numbers that decide whether a project makes money (labour, expenses, delays) reach the office late or not at all. Metrak lets the person on site say it once and does the typing.

**One sentence, every record.** A foreman can say, in Arabic or English: "Five formwork workers today, we paid 450 for steel transport and 200 in daily wages, and there's no work tomorrow because of the rain." Metrak's assistant, Ask Metrak, shows what it will create before anything is saved: two expenses with their categories and the company's currency, the day's daily progress report with the workforce, and a note that tomorrow is a non-working day. The user can change the project or any value, then create them all with one tap.

**Every form listens.** The daily progress report, site reports, tasks, RFIs, non-conformance reports and expenses all have a "Speak to fill" button. The AI fills workers by trade and count, equipment hours, materials delivered, weather (looked up for the project's city and date), work done, issues and safety notes. It is available on every plan, including the free plan.

**Try it before signing up.** The "Say your day" box on metrak.ai and on Metrak's feature pages shows the records Metrak would create from a sentence the visitor types or speaks. If they then sign up, those records go straight into their first project.

The update also includes automatic filing of uploaded documents (AutoCAD drawings go to the drawing register, and other files are categorized from their name). AutoCAD (DWG) drawings open in the browser and on the phone, with issues pinned to the exact spot on the sheet.

"Contractors already talk through their day; they just do it in voice notes that nobody turns into numbers. We wanted those words to become the report, the expense and the next task without anyone typing, in Arabic as naturally as in English," said the Metrak team.

Metrak covers a contractor's work from tender to handover: project cost control and budgets, bills of quantities, procurement and supplier quotations, subcontractors, quality and safety records, RFIs and submittals, drawings with a 3D view, documents, invoicing and cash flow. It runs in the browser and on Android, in English, Arabic, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Dutch.

**Availability:** The new features are live now at https://metrak.ai and in the Metrak app on Google Play. Metrak has a free plan with no credit card; paid plans start at USD 39 per month (https://metrak.ai/en/pricing).
